Nicole & Ryan had a snowy January wedding at The Windsor Ballroom.  Nicole wore a lovely Maggie Sottero gown and a chic wrap that her mother in law made for her.

I had such a great time at Jessica Claire’s workshop on the 16th.  As a photographer it’s so important to keep up with the trends and to continue with my “education”. I strive to grow as both a business owner and a photographer.  Both endeavors require two completely different sides of the brain and as an artist it’s important for me to try new things.  I chose to attend this workshop because Jessica has, at the same time, a similar and different style then I.  I truly admire her work and encourage you to check out her images from the shoot on her blog HERE.

Angela is the “fourth Sullivan sister” she is my sister in law’s best friend and I was so happy that she and Gary chose me to be their photographer.  On a warm November day they said their I do’s at St. Matthew the Apostle and had a fun reception at The Shadowbrook.  The late fall light made for amazing portraits.

Gina & Matt had a sweet small town wedding in Skippack PA. They met while working in the summer of 2006  They chatted often, and Matt made the move to invite her to PSU for a Nov. football game in 2006. Gina decided to go, and from then on they only got closer and realized the time they spent together was something special. On Christmas morning of 2010 Matt asked Gina to marry him so it was so fitting that they chose to wed December 30 of 2011.  Here are some of my fav images from this great day.

Kristen & Jon found me using Google and once we began chatting we all realized that we had friends in common.  Jon was friends with my late brother-in-law Denis and his sister went to high school with my sister-in-law Kathleen (shameless plug, check out Made by Kacky )  I was so happy to work with this couple and they sure know how to party!

Michelle & Chris had chosen another location for their engagement session but mother nature had other plans when she dropped Halloween snow on us and this sweet couple had to choose a warmer location for their portraits.  They took their time and chose an amazing location, Rat’s Restaurant at the Grounds for Sculpture and we had a fun time early one Sunday morning followed by a great brunch at Rat’s.  Here are some of my fav images from the shoot.

On June 30th I got a phone call from an amazing charity “Wish Upon A Wedding” they were granting a wish for an amazing couple Valerie & Larry on November 1st at the Park Ave Club in Florham Park NJ.  I was so happy to be able to be a “wish granter” for this sweet couple.  Special thanks also to guest photographers Inku Yo and  Erin H. Photography  who took amazing photographs during the event.

Here is their story:

Their love story is a complex but at the same time, simple one. Valerie has always believed that people are brought into our lives for a purpose. Whether for a moment or an eternity.

Their love story truly could make a great novel!

Since April of 2009, the couple has faced many obstacles. Larry has been admitted to the hospital on 6 occasions resulting in 5 surgeries. At 38 years old, he is legally blind in one eye due to complications from type 1 diabetes. He has had open heart surgery to replace and infected aortic valve and he is undergoing weekly treatments of dialysis 4 hours/3days a week.

Despite all of the hardships, Valerie and Larry  still manage to laugh and love every day. They have learned not to take anything for granted. They hope to raise their children and encourage them to live life to the fullest extent. They are hopeful that a kidney and pancreas donor will become available for Larry in the near future.

Valerie and Larry’s Wedding Wish was granted on November 1st, 2011 in Florham Park, NJ. The overriding theme of the wedding was rich fall colors and Wheat, which signified “An advancing state of love and charity” in the bible.

OK, So I love a daring bride and Amy hit it out of the park with a two tone croc album cover!   As she was doing a “family pack” meaning two clone books for the parents she didn’t want them to be intimidated by the hot pink and green croc cover so she went with a simple ivory cover for the Mom’s.  Check out this bada#@ book!  Also, for a unique cover you can try the wrap cover.  It has been all the rage this year check out two amazing in their own right covers for Lynn & Jessica.
