Christie & Stephan have such an amazing love for each other.  They met at a super bowl party at church. Christie had been going to the young adults group for some time and this was Stephan’s first time there.  Stephan said that the entire time he was at the party all he could think about was finding out Christie’s name and getting the chance to talk to her.  They chatted for a bit at the party and a week later went ice skating and the rest is history.

I love working with people to create non traditional portraits, also called lifestyle portraits.  I believe that you should show through in all you images and that a true classic image is one that captures you at that time in your life, so I always suggest that when taking portraits you should look like you.  If that means that you or your children are going to wear headphones, sweats or uggs for portraits then that is what you should wear.  A true classic portrait is not one that can’t be dated, that is sterile, or just not you, but, one that you will look back on and say wow that was me 10, 20 or 30 years ago and I was so into this or that.  A true portrait tells a story.  Here are some amazing images from the Valenti family, Ruthann let her kids shine as they showed off their personalities.

I had such a great time at Jessica Claire’s workshop on the 16th.  As a photographer it’s so important to keep up with the trends and to continue with my “education”. I strive to grow as both a business owner and a photographer.  Both endeavors require two completely different sides of the brain and as an artist it’s important for me to try new things.  I chose to attend this workshop because Jessica has, at the same time, a similar and different style then I.  I truly admire her work and encourage you to check out her images from the shoot on her blog HERE.

Angela is the “fourth Sullivan sister” she is my sister in law’s best friend and I was so happy that she and Gary chose me to be their photographer.  On a warm November day they said their I do’s at St. Matthew the Apostle and had a fun reception at The Shadowbrook.  The late fall light made for amazing portraits.

Gina & Matt had a sweet small town wedding in Skippack PA. They met while working in the summer of 2006  They chatted often, and Matt made the move to invite her to PSU for a Nov. football game in 2006. Gina decided to go, and from then on they only got closer and realized the time they spent together was something special. On Christmas morning of 2010 Matt asked Gina to marry him so it was so fitting that they chose to wed December 30 of 2011.  Here are some of my fav images from this great day.

Kristen & Jon found me using Google and once we began chatting we all realized that we had friends in common.  Jon was friends with my late brother-in-law Denis and his sister went to high school with my sister-in-law Kathleen (shameless plug, check out Made by Kacky )  I was so happy to work with this couple and they sure know how to party!
